I'm going to be impacted by this Change as I will lose Monetization and here are my thoughts on it. This is the recent changes to the YouTube partner program made this January 2018 and the new requirements to be monetized on YouTube. I have been reading alot of people were not being monetized and now this explains why. I am a little disappointed but, I am going to still be making great content about vehicles so stay tuned! "Youtube is strengthening there requirements for monetization so spammers, impersonators, and other bad actors can’t hurt the Youtube ecosystem" - Neal Mohan, Chief Product Officer and Robert Kyncl, Chief Business Officer. Starting today Youtube is changing the eligibility requirement for monetization to within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. All YouTube creators can apply to join as long as the program is available in your country. Once a channel reaches 10,000 public channel views, it will be reviewed to join the program.
